Explanation

  1. Try one seed. Read as one list, the 40 mask digits 4336110404416871136103743824562855412407 fit no seed from 0 to 999, which is why this post long looked like an exception to the mask generator.
  2. Run 1. The 19 mask digits of block 1, 4336110404416871136, are exactly new Random(360).Next(9) after 1 discarded call.
  3. Run 2. The 21 mask digits of block 2, 103743824562855412407, are exactly new Random(318).Next(9) after 1 discarded call.
  4. Two runs. Each block has its own seed, so the blank line is where one run of the generator ended and a new one, with a new Random, began. Both runs throw away their first draw before the first mask digit; what that draw is for is not known (the later posts start at the first draw). The other 30 hex digits of each GUID are Guid.NewGuid() output and carry no message.
  5. Conclusion. Filler: two runs of the masked-GUID generator posted together.
  6. Explain the count. Grouped in Before the scheduler: before the scheduled app (Jun 26 2012): sparse single tool runs / hand lists (o5o4o, jbucr, jkuyr), 2011 genuine-v4 lists; no long-lived count stream to fit

Solution summary

Method
two masked-GUID halves, no cipher
Result
40 masked GUIDs: records 1-19 seed 360, records 20-40 seed 318
Explanation
Unencrypted; the blank line is a generator boundary; version nibbles fit both halves exactly (draw 0 skipped in each); the MD5-preimage reading is superseded
Re-checked
plain: two masked-GUID halves, blank-line seam
